From France to Los Angeles, By Instinct
Cedric grew up in France absorbing the visual culture around him, art, fashion, image-making in all its forms. Those early influences didn't fade; they became the foundation of everything he does behind a camera. What's remarkable about his trajectory is that it was never mapped. He is entirely self-taught, and that freedom from formal training is not a gap in his education, it's a defining feature of his work.
Where a trained photographer might default to structure and rule, Cedric defaults to feeling. His approach is intuitive, shaped in the moment, open to what the subject brings to the room. The result is photography that never feels rehearsed. There's a current running through his images, an aliveness that resists the static.
The Male Body as Landscape

He describes his goal as creating images that blur the line between fine art and fashion, and he succeeds, not by splitting the difference, but by refusing the distinction entirely.
