Inspiró Magazine Issue 5 — A Warm Welcome to Walter Jenkel and Twelve Voices of Male Sensuality
Featuring Photographer Walter Jenkel and Eleven Other Artists
Inspiró is thrilled to present Walter Jenkel as our cover artist for Issue 5. Jenkel’s work—rooted in auteur photography—places non‑professional male models beside Iberian, invasive, and domestic animals to illuminate our fragile, intimate ties to the natural world. His images are rich, tactile, and unexpectedly tender, inviting readers to feel the quiet power of connection. Many images in this issue are previously unpublished.
Our latest 112‑page issue reshapes how male sensuality is seen, pairing photography with watercolor, mixed media, digital art, and hand‑stitched embroidery to create a vibrant, queer tapestry. The design encourages slow reading: every spread is a moment to linger, a visual story that balances sensuality with disarming intimacy.
Curated by Mark Alan, American photographer and creative director based in Spain, Issue 5 gathers twelve homo‑visual artists exploring love, desire, identity, and eroticism. Mark’s editorial eye—familiar from The Male Muse and his zines Pulp, Wolfpack, and Happy Trail—offers a cohesive, generous platform for these voices, rendered here in a luxe print edition.
Inspiró Issue 5 is more than a magazine; it’s a collectible art object meant to be returned to again and again.
